Robert “Bob” Morgan was a performer who went by the stage name Spectro the Mind Reader. His skills were no hoax, however. Spectro was the descendant of a 17th century sorcerer accused of performing black magic and burned at the stake. Spectro possessed telepathy and could also judge souls. Spectro used his gifts “to step on the vicious little insects of crime!” If he found a soul filled with evil, he brought them to justice.
