Tom Burton, 11 year old, is the nephew of Vince Harley, the Yellowjacket. Burton’s friends call him “Buzz” and “Yellowjacket Jr.,” both nicknames stemming from his hobby of raising bees. He gets in trouble with Scrappy Sneed, who is kept off the basketball team because of Burton, and the two are assigned to stage a war bond show.
