In the 21st century, a military force from Jupiter attacks the allied worlds of Earth, Mars, and Venus. The Allied World Forces use A.W. Meteorjets to battle the Jovejets of the Jovian Invaders. Captain Jax, a.k.a. Space Ace, battles the Jovians, recording 78 Jovejets shot down. Jax is called to headquarters for a top-secret mission. He’s surprised to discover he is to take a woman from A.W. Intelligence along with him on his next flight. Dinah Dean orders Jax to prepare his ship to launch at 2100 hours. He balks at the command, and she soothes him with compliments, then informs him that she outranks him as a Major. Space Ace straightens up. During their flight, Jax sees a group of Jovejets preparing to engage with them. Dean tells him to let the other Meteorjets handle the Jovian fighters. He begrudgingly obeys, watching as they follow a Jovian fighter intentionally crash into an A.W. base. The ship throws free what looks like an armored figure. They follow the Jovejet escort flight back to “Asteroid 13”. A group of Jovejets approach, and Space Ace’s lone fighter is outnumbered. Jax’s ship takes a hit, and he uses a lake to land the craft. Dean and Jax go in search of a factory on the asteroid. They find a Jovian guard watching the area. Jax dispatches the guard with a rock to his head. Dean finds a factory where robots are built for suicide missions in the Jovejets. Another Jovian finds the pair and explains the plans to send the robot suicide bombers against the A.W. asteroid settlements in atom-bomb equipped Jovejets, gradually moving toward Earth. Jax beans the Jovian with a robot part, knocking him unconscious. Back at A.W. headquarters on Earth, the A.W. leader bemoans the fact Jax and Dean have gone missing. The Jovian commander orders the robots into Jovejets. Jax tells Dean to get into an empty robot shell. They surreptitiously commander one of the Jovejets. Jax uses the communicator on the ship to warn A.W. forces. The A.W. Meteorjets wipe out the Jovejets. As they head for Earth, Dean orders Jax to kiss her. An abuse of power to which Jax happily accedes.
