The Shape was an artificial lifeform created by Professor Scuba S. Duba by exposing a statue made out of special chemicals to “super hyperintensity white aura-light” and “ultra-ebonized light.” However, the professor’s nephew Kevin Boyd bumped into the machine, causing The Shape to be born. In the course of his origin adventure, he uses his shape-shifting powers to capture communist spies Karl Minten and Vic Facsh. Shape has the power to shape-shift, meaning his body can become almost anything including weapons, tools, and animals. However, Shape has a toddler-like mentality and only a basic grasp of English. Notes: Like many Charlton Characters such as Tyro Team and Spookman, Shape is in the public domain thanks to a lack of a proper copyright notice. This is because any work published without a proper copyright notice between 1923 and 1977 are in the public domain.
