Master Devil Master

Investigating a huge, strange spacecraft, Commodore Rex Clive and Adjutant Speed Lansing of the Space Rangers encounter a figure in a spacesuit. The figure’s “solidium” armor makes him immune to their “sun-bolt” pistols, and he fires a “gravigun” at the lawmen. The weapon forces Rex and Speed unconsciousness. They awaken to discover their ship piloted by Erda, leader of a galactic expedition from the planet Dox. Erda reveals the figure’s name is Dav, her bodyguard. The planet Dox revolves around the star called Algol. The Doxians are at war with the Zodians of Zod, including the Master Devil Master and his group. Rex Clive finds the median point of gravitational balance between the planet Zod and Dox, and uses the advantage to render the gravitational weapons of the Zodian fleet useless.
