Kent Thurston is the crime fighter Invisible Hood. He initially could not turn invisible. In the same story in which he says “Yes, I’m called the ‘Invisible Hood’, but only because no one knows my true identity — how I wish I were really invisible! Invisibility — what a weapon!!”, an inventor of an invisibility formula is kidnapped and then saved by Kent, who gives Kent the formula as thanks. Invisible Hood had a police contact named Inspector Bill Blake who helped him.
