Gangster “Scars” Mason breaks in to Professor Williard Crown’s laboratory to steal his formula to turn any metal into gold. Mason causes chemicals to spill on to young Danny Blake, giving him the ability to become invisible. Invisible Boy uses his new powers to capture Mason. Invisible Boy’s other adventures included foiling the Comrade’s plans to sabotage Grand City’s newspaper and radio station, showing up Percy after he stole a date with Danny’s crush Margie, and capturing counterfeiters who dressed as ghosts and used a haunted house as their headquarters.
