The son of Father Neptune, the Shark (or Shark-Man) was called such as he was often seen in the company of large, man-eating sharks. He once lived in an undersea kingdom, but set out to fight against all crimes committed at sea. He could breathe underwater and swim fast thanks to webbed hands and feet. His powers included invulnerability (while in water), super strength (the “strength of 10 whales”), hypnotism, and the ability to create water-based illusions (usually used to make doubles of himself). He was also a skilled inventor. He possessed normal human strength out the water unless carrying a magical knife given to him by his father, a knife which provided command over water and the ability to teleport through it. His enemies include Dr. Cloud, Fritz von Holz, Von Lougg, Captain Gottfried von Slagian, and Prince Zog of Mars.
