Zongar possessed a magical amulet which, when rubbed, would summon forth the ghostly green spirit called Abaraxx! At Zongar’s request, Abaraxx would perform a variety of tasks including following trails left by criminals, transforming men into kittens, and breaking down walls. Zongar was also willing to actively intervene in a situation himself when needed, and had a girlfriend named Ruth West.
