John Doyle was a lawyer framed by crooked politicians, sent to jail for crimes he didn’t commit. He managed to break out by taking the keys off a security guard. He then cleared his name. He kept the prison uniform as his superhero costume and fought crime as the Zebra. While he has no powers, the Zebra is skilled in combat. The Zebra fought villains such as Dr. Diabole, Ego, Bale, the Rattler, the Human Frog, and Dr. Hypno.
