Yankee Boy is an ordinary teenager, named Phil Martin in Yankee Comics and Victor Martin in Dynamic Comics, without super powers, who put on a costume to fight for American freedom. He helped Inspector Foley fight crime and also teamed up with Dandy and Johnny Rebel, his fellow Yankee Comics characters, in a three-part text story published in Yankee Comics #3. His enemies included drug dealer Herr Liepzig, The Thing, Toad, Spud Mulhern, Chicago Boland, and Reefer King and his partner Murray Kreeper.
