An assassin in an all-white uniform, with a white cape and white fishbowl to hide his identity, was murdering factory workers using poison gas. One of the best players of the Blue Socks baseball team also died. The clues left behind helped US Jones defeat the White Killer, who turned out to be Mr. Fredericks, the manager of the baseball team. The White Killer was equipped with a dagger and vials of poisonous gas. He had no powers but was a skilled chemist and climber.
