A young, ambitious sculptor infiltrates the war camp of Alexander the Great. To make sure the true fate of the sculptor runs its course, the Man in Black causes the boy to slip in the mud and chased by a sentry. The Man in Black then calls on Thor and Vulcan to slow the sentry. Vulcan overdoes it and causes a fire to erupt all about the camp. The boy is the only who knows a safe passage through the flames. As a reward, Alexander sends the boy to apprentice with the famous sculptor Lysippus.
