Volto from Mars arrived on Earth in a bubble, acted as a superhero, and only asked for a bowl of Grape Nut Flakes in return. Adverts featuring Volto appeared in comic books published by Fawcett, Novelty, Quality, and United Features. When Volto yelled “VOLTO!” with his left arm raised, he could repel all objects. Yelling the same with his right arm raised would attract all objects.
