Viking Carter was a young American amateur boxer touring England. When the war started, he was unable to travel home, so he taught boxing “to the Tommies awaiting a German invasion at ‘Hell’s Corner’.” Carter joined the cause. Over the English Channel in a reconnaissance plane, Carter shoots down an enemy. Investigating the German pilot’s fate, Carter stumbles upon a plot to invade England using silent gliders. After many battles and turns of fate, Carter successfully takes out a whole invading force by himself.
