The Tiger Man was once a pearl merchant operating on “The Lost Island,” just off the coast of Singapore. He teamed up with a native named Sabbat, and staged his own kidnapping, in order to steal a ruby. He tried to kill his niece, Rita Van Dyke, but was stopped by Lash Lightning, who unmasked him.
