Representative Fool (Tarot)
The Tarot card deck consists of 78 cards, each with its own divination meaning: 22 in the Major Arcana and 56 in the Minor Arcana. The cards date back to the Renaissance, also the use of them for divination. They do, of course, share their origin with playing cards. The Major Arcana cards are the trumps, which are unsuited. Each card represents a major force to be taken quite seriously when appearing in divination. The 56 Tarot cards of the Minor Arcana are divided into four suits: Wands, Pentacles (also called Coins), Cups, and Swords.
