Surgeon

The home city of Dr. Nemesis was gripped by an outbreak of the Black Plague. The Surgeon, Dr. Blackton, Superintendent of City Hospital, set about killing the doctors who discovered the cure, so that he could claim credit for himself. He burst into the research laboratory and killed two of the three doctors with his scalpel and an anesthetic he released into the room. The dying Dr. Michaels hid the formula in the mouth of one of his dead colleagues, and fell out the window clutching his teeth in his hand. Dr. Jim Bradley, alter ego of Dr. Nemesis, was arrested on suspicion of murder, but broke out of jail to defeat the Surgeon and recover the formula.
