On June 14th, in the year 5092, Doctor Steve Crain is asked by the “World Spaceways Commission” to look into reports of ghosts and other strange things along the “Witches’ Road”. The Witches’ Road is an area of space a “million miles long and a million miles wide”. The commission desires to open the road for commercial travel. Doctor Crain agrees if a suitable pilot not afraid of ghosts can be found, who turns out to be Major Jerry Strong of Space Force. They take their spaceship to an area near Xebon, the outermost planet beyond Pluto, and soon enter the fringes of the Witches’ Road. After studying the Witches’ Road, they find it’s composed of scenes replicating human history. Doctor Crain reports his findings of a record where “every deed of the past is written! Knowing everything we do in our lives is recorded forever in time should cause us to live our lives accordingly!” Crain says they should all feel very humble.
