Spadehead

Master villain Spadehead, who uses the Ace of Spades as a calling card, sends his henchmen out to rob a museum, but the heist is foiled by Plastic Man and Woozy Winks. Angry at the wasted planning, Spadehead orders the soused Dr. Vineyard, once a well-regarded physician but now sturned to criminality after losing a man on the operating table, to invent a formula to “de-rubberize” the hero. Vineyard gets to work, because Spadehead takes away his liqour. Meanwhile, forensics on one of the captured henchmen provides Plastic Man with a lead… Dr. Vineyard. The doctor concocts a successful serum (it works on a car tire), so Spearhead and his gang attempt to rob a bank. When Plas intercedes, Spadehead fails to puncture his rubber skin with a needle filled with the serum, but does trick Plas into drinking a cup of water with the serum. Plastic Man loses control of his stretching powers. Spadehead completes the robbery. With Plastic Man incapacitated, Woozy goes undercover in the criminal underworld, looking for Vineyard. Entering the hideout, Woozy convinces Vineyard that he’s not a murderer. As thanks, the doctor gives Woozy the antidote to his serum. Plastic Man brings Spearhead to justice.
