Planet Payson was a secret agent who was investigating the smuggling of “ionite”, a miraculous metal from Mercury. He discovers, after some detective work, that Hal and a gang of smugglers have been using a “space comber” ship to smuggle the ionite. He is captured by the smugglers but escapes. He destroys their ships and turns them into the authorities. Planet Payson had no powers, but wielded a ray gun. Planet Payson’s story in issue #7 was later re-colored as Punch Powers in Lucky “7” Comics #1.
