An electric storm raging in France after a breakdown at an electric station puts George Lorris, a lieutenant of the French army in the corps of chemical engineers, in contact with Estelle Lacombe via the téléphonoscope. George’s father, the great scientist and inventor Philox Lorris, opposes the marriage… He sends his colleague Sulfatin to join the couple on a trip and meddle in their relationship… Meanwhile, Philox Lorris is working on two novel scientific applications: a biological weapon and a vaccine that is meant to boost one’s health… which get mixed up at a party…
