Miss Davis was a bank secretary who used her position to get access to the vault combination, which she then gave to her gang. The crooks dressed as cops in the bank, and then proceeded to rob it. In order to protect her identity, Davis ran her gang under the guise of the Night, which concealed her gender as well. The plan was to frame the bank owner as the heist’s mastermind. Reporter Rick Rawson, along with his co-worker Laura, began snooping around. He discovers the gang. The Night decides to eliminate him. She kidnaps Laura, knocks her out, sends a note to Rick telling him where to find her, and sets up a deathtrap. However, Rick saves Laura and unmasks the Night, ending her planned crime-spree.
