Nathan Hale

Nathan Hale was Captain Battle’s side-kick. He was an orphan turned into a demon-like creature called a Deaglo. Captain Battle changed him back to human while fighting his master, the Black Dragon. Upon returning to human form, Nathan couldn’t recall anything about his past except his name. Captain Battle adopted him and allowed him to become his sidekick. Captain Battle gave him the code-name Hale “Souvenir” Battle because Hale liked to collect souvenirs from his adventures. He helped Captain Battle fight foes such as Baron Doom. Nathan Hale was a good fighter and, like Captain Battle, used a luceflyer anti-gravity jetpack and a dissolvo gun. Note: A reprinted story had Nathan’s first name changed to Kane.
