It is unknown where he came from, but the Man of the Ages was first defeated by cave dwellers of a million years ago. At his apparent demise, he claimed he would live as long as evil existed on Earth. Returning in the 20th century, he set lions loose on children, then attempted to blow up a dam and flood the town below. He was opposed by Bulletman on both occasions, knocked into the water, where he seemed to drown. Bulletman mused that he would probably return to face another hero in a different time. In addition to his extraordinary longevity and durability, the Man of Ages also carried a gun which shot a deadly gas.
