Serpina was a sideshow carnival entertainer turned assassin. At the carnival, she appears to have done private snake dances with her boa, Bobo. When she ordered Bobo to kill a man, she and her conspirators were confronted by Plastic Man. Plastic Man managed to kill Bobo, and decided that his death was enough of a punishment for Serpina, so he did not arrest her. In addition to being a skilled dancer and snake handler, Serpina was very seductive and protected by male admirers, such as Mammo, the carnival strong man, who could lift over 1000 pounds.
