Marc Holmes was a radio newscaster covering the Blitz. He realized the need to inspire his fellow Brits in their struggles against the Germans, so he became the costumed hero known as London. As London, Marc battled German spies in England. He had no superpowers. His catchphrase (or at least that of the strip) was “London can take it!”
