Note: Most sites claim the Phantom Princess was believed to be “Princess Tatanova,” a member of the royal family of Slivonia, and that the whole of the royal family were killed by the invading Germans during World War II (with “Tatanova’s” body never being found). This is not true, however, as neither the name “Tatanova” nor any “royal family” are ever mentioned in the story!
