Nick Nelson of the Space Patrol and his Martian gunner, Kodi, find a strange object silhouetted against Earth’s Moon. It is a gambling ship called the Sky Palace. The ship is operated by a Plutonian named Jol. Nelson boards the craft and gains entrance to the casino to observe the patrons. He notes Martian Space Bandits, a Saturnian Drug Smuggler, and a Mercurian Space Pirate among the revelers. Jol talks to Nelson. Nelson says he will have to make some arrests among “the scum of the solar system!” Jol sets groups of the space criminals against Nelson. Jol rushes to the “gravity generator controls” and increases gravity, then escapes in his Space Car. Nelson signals Kodi to chase after Jol. During the chase, Jol crashes into a projection of lava on the Moon, then freezes when he comes in contact with the Moon’s air. Nelson assists his the Space Patrol in making arrests.
