Jim was at least strong enough to hurl a tank-like vehicle (likely weighing at least 20 tons) with relative ease. His unnamed scientist friend could throw him tremendous distances with a giant catapult, and Jim was able to land safely without any equipment. He also seemed to possess tremendous running speed, and was likely faster than a human.
