The Mercurian captures Space Patrol pilot Nick Nelson and his gunner Kodi. Challenging Nick to a duel, the Mercurian orders Guab, one of the Mercurian Mole Men, to retrieve Nelson’s “atomic-needle gun” and return it to him. Guab does so, secretly removing the needles from it beforehand.
