Dr. Taboo was a scientist who worked in a castle on the banks of the Hudson River. He figured out a way to scientifically attune voodoo dolls to the bodies of real people, allowing him to kill most anyone from a distance. He planned to kill anyone who knew too much about his secret experiments. Within his castle, he prepared deadly rays which could neutralize anyone, including the hero Shock Gibson. Although he was able to capture Shock and temporarily deprive him of his powers, the hero eventually got free and collapsed Dr. Taboo’s castle on top of the old man.
