Dr. Styx was a mysterious undead human who used his knowledge of the occult to reverse the damage done by humans who unleashed terrible supernatural forces. He patrolled the city at midnight, and claimed to be uninterested in human affairs, though he was clearly sympathetic to humans and considered himself a citizen of the Earth. He battled powerful supernatural forces, including demons and horrors clearly inspired by Lovecraft’s literature. Observer of occult rites gone wrong, ability to see things in his palanthir, summon and communicate with spirits from beyond, astral projection, hypnosis, physically battle incorporeal beings.
