Dr. Martinious was an Earth man who travelled to Mars and conquered the inhabitants, declaring himself the new Warlord of Mars. He then used the Brain Men of Mars to come up with a plan to conquer the universe, starting with Earth. Their plan involved sending meteors to earth, infested with martian insects that would spread disease across the land. Stardust arrived on earth, giving scientists there the secret to wipe out the insects and the disease they carried. It is unclear if Stardust killed Dr. Martinious when he destoryed his base, or if the doctor got away through the secret tunnels in the base.
