The world has been conquered by Mongol warlord Gustave Ritter. However, opposing Ritter was the heroic Doc Strong, both an adventurer and scientist who, with a small team, set out to rebuild civilization. They were based in an underground city on the Isle of Right, an island located in the Pacific. His team included Dr. Henry Davidge, the immensely strong Swedish cook named Sampson Smith, an atomic chemist Alice Rayburn, the great mechanical engineer Walter Parker, and elderly electrical engineer Professor Harrison. His team also included geologist Edward Stuyvesant, who turned out to be a traitor. One of Doc Strong’s inventions was a gun that solidifies shadows. The weapon would immobilize anything the shadow was attached to or touching.
