Diver Dave Dean, while searching for pearls by a shipwreck, had his air-line cut by the strange fish-man. Dave goes back down, fights the devil and stabs him. While the creature was pulled to the surface, Dave investigated the wreck and discovered that it was deliberately sunk to hide a murder.
