Delva is Chief of the Vixens of Venus. Commodore Rex Clive and Adjutant Speed Lansing investigate an anomaly when an island appears on Earth. They find it is teaming with Venusian plants. The Space Rangers are captured by the Vixens of Venus and taken to Venus, where they are placed in the Royal Insectarium, in which the insects have grown far larger than on Earth. The Vixens of Venus must first plant Venusian flora to feed the insects for use in an invasion of Earth. Rex and Speed escape the insectarium, but are re-captured. Delva has them fed to Sufi, a giant Venusian worm. The vixens leave the pair to their fates. Their sole guard sends a large bird to save them from the worm. The guard turns out to be Stella Dawn. The group calls in the Space Rangers, defeating the Vixens from Venus.
