Clifton Shaw receives a threatening note with a tiger’s paw as a mark on it. Doctor John Wytes advises Clifton to ignore it as a prank. Clifton does, but as he walks out he sees what he thinks is a black tiger cub. It turns into a beautiful woman, Tiger’s Paw. She ferociously attacks him, giving him a poisoned scratch with her nails. He dies, her saying he was a fool to not heed her threat.
