Clawites

The Clawites were monstrous henchmen, created to serve the Claw. The Claw forced his scientist, Cling, to create a formula that would transform human beings into deadly goblin-like creatures, loyal to him. Though many of these humans were enemies of the Claw, once they were transformed into Clawites, they were his slaves and served their master loyally. The Clawites had razor sharp claws, prehensile tails, and wings that enabled them to fly. They were bullet proof (one cop complained that it took 100 shots of his tommy gun to kill one Clawite) and they usually carried a trident or pitchfork style weapon. Some used grenades and most were willing to die for their master.
