Jim Dare, his brother Bob, and his sister Kitty were trapeze artists at the Great Dingling Brothers circus. However, when Scarface and his gang steal money from the ticket booth, Bob, ignoring his brother’s advice, jumps the bandits and is shot dead. The robbers escape with the loot after killing Bob. Jim swears to bring his brother’s killers to justice. He creates the alter ego of the Blue Streak. While he has no powers, the Blue Streak is a talented daredevil and acrobat.
