In 12th Dynasty Egypt, 4000 years ago, the newly ascended Black Pharaoh imprisoned his rival, Amentep, a.k.a. Ibis, for defying his rule and for fighting back against his tyranny. the pharaoh renounced his allegiance to the old gods and by doing so became a servant of the dark god Set. The pharaoh then set his eyes on Ibis’ beloved fiancée, Princess Taia of Thebes. Set granted Black Pharaoh a small demon army but abandoned him when Ibis finally broke free from his dungeon. The villain was killed in combat with Ibis.
