Taho, a.k.a. the Black Fury, was a villainous female who used her trained black panthers to combat Rulah the Jungle Goddess after Rulah foiled her and her mate Umar’s plans to get rid of villagers using killer octopi so that they could get their hands on the gold in the local river. She controls her pets using the knowledge passed on from her cat cult ancestors. Rulah defeated Black Fury after a volcanic eruption frightened Talo’s panthers. The big cats then turned on their former master, ending her reign of jungle terror.
