As a child, The Ant Queen was lost in the jungles of Africa and raised by giant red driver ants (ranging from the size of a cat to the size a car). She returned to human civilization, but decided that she hated human beings. She returned to the caves of the giant ants and became their queen, using a helmet with antennae that allowed her to control the ants telepathically. When her ants began to raid local villages, she was confronted by Lee Granger, The Jungle King.
