Frank Frazetta is probably the most prolific horror and fantasy artist ever, producing mesmerizing, beautifully painted tableaux for magazine covers (most prominently for the midsixties Warren publications Creepy and Eerie), fantasy and horror paperback covers, and film posters (including many popular midsixties comedies)… Frazetta memorably illustrated several covers in the midfifties for the long-running comic book series Famous Funnies featuring Buck Rogers.
