The Walrus was a street performer who would pickpocket his audience. His “sleight of hand” impressed a mob boss, who encouraged him to be part of his gang. He was hired to knock off the rival gang leader. The Walrus double-crossed his new boss, killing both him and the other gang leader. This pitted the two gangs against each other. The Hangman witnessed the killings and was able to apprehend the Walrus. The Walrus had a walking cane which could be used as a blow dart gun, and the handle hid a small dagger.
