Virginia Thompson

Virginia Thompson was engaged to the hero Doc Strange. Her father, Professor Thompson, was the inventor of the Delta Ray Gun, a powerful weapon that could destroy anything, even tanks and battleships. The secret of the ray was coveted by the Faceless Phantom, so he had Professor Thompson kidnapped. The Phantom was defeated by Doc Strange. After this, Virginia accompanied Doc on many of his adventures, assisting him and his sidekick Mike. Although her hair is red, on the cover of Thrilling Comics #1, it is blonde, and, inside the comic, her hair is colored red or blonde in different panels (a common coloring error at the time).
