Twilight

Marine Sergeant Terry Gardner, a former private detective and former champion wrestler, tangled with two Germans, Maxim and Nada, who sought to murder the “Slovic Minister” Wilmer, whom Gardner was ordered to protect. A parrot, overhearing the Nazi plot, repeats the plot out loud while it flies away. The Nazis try to kill it, but kill his owner, an organ grinder, instead. Snoopy the parrot visits Gardner, giving him a card with the words “At Twilight you will be Master.” Gardner immediately sees a monkey costume with a “T” on the chest and wears it that night. The crime-fighter Twilight is born. While he doesn’t protect Wilmer from death, he brings the Nazis to justice. Among his opponents were Boss Bogus, the Counterfeiter, Baby Face and his shrinking gas, and Brother, a gorilla dressed as a human and disguised with bandages. He continues to be helped by Snoopy, a wisecracking, foul-mouthed talking bird who gathers information.
