Hap Holliday, the “Time Skipper,” travels through time in his “Year in an Instant” Time Yacht, a spherical-shaped conveyance. Professor Eon Tempus helped with design and construction, and accompanied Hap on his adventures. In their first outing, the pair visit the year 100,001 AD, encountering a dry seabed with giant crab-like creatures and a giant, land-traversing octopus. Shooting the octopus with his rifle, Hap rescues Ula, Queen of Futuropolis. Futuropolis has been overtaken by the reptile-people, who drove Ula’s people away. Hap returns to the day of Ula’s banishment to set things aright. In their second adventure, the team travels to Ancient Rome.
