On a special mission for the King, L’Epee became the masked Monsieur L’Epee, a swordsman using violence to get the information he needed. In his sole appearance, Monsieur L’Epee dealt with conspirators plotting to plant false papers. Monsieur L’Epee provoked a duel with the head conspirator and ended the treat.
