While in different locations, Martha Roberts was concentrating on the ability to shrink down and help Doll Man, and Darrel Dane was contemplating his loneliness without a crime-fighting partner, “by a strange combination of will powers” Martha Roberts’ height and weight scaled to match that of the hero. They both then noticed the same newspaper article about a Bramber murder mystery, at the same time, they go off to solve it. Even though she was unmasked, Martha was not recognized by Doll Man during their adventure. At the end of this case, Martha returned to normal size. Martha Roberts took on the crime-fighting persona Doll Girl at a later date.
